James and his team worked hard through three winter storms and the Covid-19 pandemic to deliver two extensions and a loft conversion exactly on budget with only a very slight delay (and given the circumstances who can complain about that?) The standard of work was high and there was nothing to fix after completion. Given the substantial amount of work that we had done and the timing of it (over lockdown), we are eternally grateful and pleased that we chose APDCI and James to do our work. Everything he said he'd do, he did. Very professional, courteous and reliable. I'd recommend him anytime.

APD worked on a 2 storey side extension on our last property.
It was our first experience working with APD. They delivered the extension to the agreed timescale & on budget. They left the site clean, tidy & safe each night which was important as we had 2 small boys. They even gave the boys a go in the digger!
James managed the project from start to finish, getting trades on site a couple of weeks in advance to finalise materials, manage building control etc. The project ran very smoothly & we didn’t need to worry about coordinating trades as James did it for us.
Overall we were delighted with the standard of the build & the service we received. So much so, that we have James & his team briefed to start our next renovation project.

Ultimately James wanted to achieve what we wanted to achieve. He was happy to listen carefully to our needs/requirements and to suggest approaches/solutions. We felt he kept us informed at every stage and was excellent at organising and dovetailing different services. James was able to successfully problem-solve when one historical issue arose with our house. James’s organisational skills meant he kept the project moving forward. He ensured that all was left clean and secure at the end of each day and he advised us what was to happen the next day and the timings involved. We were delighted with the end result.

Our experience with APD construction was first class.
This was the first time we had major work done to our house and James helped us every step of the way, we would couldn’t recommend them more highly.
Their attention to detail from start to finish was brilliant. From the quote all the way through to the finishing stages we were kept informed and up to date with any challenges and progress.
APD were incredibly considerate builders as we have two young children and would even try and time drilling so they didn’t interrupt our baby’s nap time! Each evening they tidied away everything so not to disrupt our family life any more than could be helped.
If we need any work doing in the future on our house we couldn’t consider anyone other than James and APD construction.
